Windows users Do-It-Yourself Install
STEP 1 - Install AfterShutter using the Auto Installer

  • If you haven't yet, fill out the inquiry form and continue to the page where you can download the Windows auto installer to your computer. (coming soon)
  • click SAVE - NOT RUN and save the installer to your computer. Most people choose to save it to the desktop.
  • When it's on your desktop, double click the installer.
  • click RUN.
  • Click Next:



  • Enter your FTP info (address, login, password):



  • The installer will create a folder called "OnlineOrdering" on your webspace for your storefront.
    If you want to change the name of your storefront, click "Change" and type a new name. Example: clientaccess, ordering, etc:



  • Click on the BROWSE button and it will look inside your webspace and show you what's there:



    • Usually, your root level will already be selected for you, so your system will be installed right at the root level of your website. Some hosting companies put up a directory called "htdocs" or "mydirectory" as the root level, so that's what you would highlight in this step, if it's not already highlighted for you.
    Click "OK" to exit this browse portion.
  • Click Next:



  • The installer will begin working, then it will show you where the files will be uploaded. It will show the root level of your webspace. Don't do anything here, just click Next:



  • On the next step, CLICK INSTALL:



  • Progress bars will begin, and you can sit back and smile while your system is installed for you:



  • You're done!:



  • If you run into any problems, you can quit the installer and then run it again.
    The installer will detect your incomplete install and you can pick up where you left off.

    • Configuration access

  • Use your favorite web browser (Safari, Explorer, Firefox, whatever you use) to go on the internet to www.yourwebsite.com/OnlineViewing/configuration using the folder name you specified above.
  • The configuration page is password protected. Enter this information to access the configuration page:
    User name: admin
    Password: admin
  • Once inside the configuration page, use the "Change User ID" and "Change Password" buttons to set the user ID and password to your own chosen ID & Password.
